Prerequisites for course enrolments

  • The first two key courses must be done in the order shown.
Once you have satisfactorily completed these two prerequisites you are eligible to enrol for any of the other courses listed below in any order you wish.

  • The first two courses (Introduction to Computers and Computing Skills) are based on Microsoft Word 2007 or Microsoft Word 2010.

You must have Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010 on your own computer to be able to do the first two courses.
If you do not already have this program you will need to purchase it. The most economical way of doing this is to buy a copy of Microsoft Office for Home and Student which is able to be installed on up to three computers.

  • Members who have previously completed both "Introduction to Computers" and "Word Processing Levels 1 & 2" have already met the requirements for any of the courses listed below.

  • Some courses are offered each term. Others are offered periodically according to demand.

  • New courses may be added from time to time and their prerequisites will be determined at the time.
For example, a new course named "Photo and Image Editing Level Two" has "Photo and Image Editing Level One" as its prerequisite.

  • To enrol for any course you must be a financial member of the Tauranga SeniorNet Club.

Check the current Timetable for dates and times of courses.
