  Memento
the Freeware Post-It Notes program
man
Memento is for making jottings on coloured post-it style notes that sit on your screen.
They can be hidden as required or reduced to a slim title bar that you drag out of the way of your work.
You can change the colour and transparency of each note.
Contents can be copied and pasted into other documents.
They are saved automatically and are available for as long as you wish.
This Freeware program was written by Tim Browse.
  1. Memento's icon sits on the system tray (bottom right of screen) as a yellow page with a bottom corner curled up.  Memento Logo

To open all the notes that are on file, select Show All.
To hide all the notes that are on screen, right click on the icon and select Hide All.

  7. Naming a Note
The first line of your note becomes its title. So always make the first line suitable (short and meaningful). Press Enter at the end of the title before you start typing the body of the note.
  1. The Title Bar
When a new note is created, its title bar shows the current date and time.
This continues to be displayed whenever the note is open on screen,
with the title remaining as the first line in the text area.
The time line does not change, but remains set at the time of creation of the note.

When the note is rolled up into its title bar, the date/time is replaced by the title.
